It is the intent of the White Pine Historical Railroad Foundation to preserve the historical character of the Nevada Northern Railway facilities and railroad equipment. In January 1992, the Nevada Northern Railway Endowment Fund was established to provide direct financial support from it's members. The fund will be used for the rehabilitation of the railroad complex, as match monies for grants, and for actual construction and restoration resources. In September 2006, the Nevada Northern Railway complex at East Ely was designated a National Historic Landmark.

Membership at the $100 per year level provides a subscription to Ghost Tracks, centennial pin, a director's tour of the railway, 25% ticket discount*, 15% gift shop discount, and a silver centennial coin. 

Patron
Supporters at the $500 level receive a subscription to Ghost Tracks, centennial pin, 1906 Railroad Day program, a director's tour of the railway, 50% ticket discount*, 15% gift shop discount, a numbered gold plated silver centennial coin, and a cab ride.
